Four suspects arrested in Super Bowl nightclub shooting of 49ers’ Keion White

Four men are in custody after a multi-state probe into the February nightclub shooting that left San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White with a gunshot wound to the ankle.

Authorities in California and Georgia last week arrested Marquis Davis, Antoine Washington, Curtis Green, and Gregory Walker in connection with the nightclub attack on the NFL player, ABC News reported.

San Francisco police and prosecutors say White was shot in the ankle while hosting a private party in the downstairs VIP area of the Dahlia Club after Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara. Officers found him suffering from the gunshot wound. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins named White as the victim at a press conference with Police Chief Derrick Lew.

The arrests followed an investigation the San Francisco Police Department called Operation D-Line. That effort, according to additional reporting, involved more than 50 search warrants and stretched from Southern California to Atlanta.

Jenkins announced charges only for Green and Walker. Those two had been booked into San Francisco County Jail. The district attorney’s office and police said they are working with other jurisdictions to bring Davis and Washington to San Francisco.

Walker faces the heaviest allegations in the nightclub case

Prosecutors allege Walker and a second man who is still pending charges fired the guns that wounded White. Green was armed and allegedly brandished his own firearm, the district attorney’s release stated.

"Mr. Walker, and a second man who is pending charges, are alleged to have fired their guns, resulting in the injury to Mr. White. Mr. Green was also armed and is alleged to have brandished his own firearm,"

Walker faces assault with a semi-automatic firearm, with allegations that he personally discharged a firearm and personally inflicted great bodily injury. He is also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a concealed firearm by a felon, and possession of a loaded firearm by a felon.

Green faces misdemeanor counts of brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm in public.

The New York Post reported Walker was taken into custody around 5:30 a.m. in Hollywood by Los Angeles police gang and narcotics officers and held without bail on a felony assault charge tied to a semi-automatic weapon. That account also placed the nightclub dispute in the context of a confrontation involving rapper Lil Baby after the Super Bowl.

High-profile criminal cases in California often draw intense public attention, as seen when Paul Pelosi faced hit-and-run charges after a crash in Napa County.

Arrest recoveries stretched from Atlanta to Stockton

Atlanta police arrested Davis on Oct. 7. Officers recovered an illegal firearm along with MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl, according to the San Francisco Police Department release. Davis was charged in Georgia with multiple counts of trafficking controlled substances, multiple gang-related offenses, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was taken to Fulton County Jail.

An attorney for Davis told ABC News the suspect is presumed innocent and will be vigorously defended.

"Marquis Davis is presumed innocent of all charges. The allegations against him remain unproven, and he is entitled to the full protections of the United States Constitution."

"Mr. Davis will be vigorously defended in court, and we will not comment on the evidence, the investigation, or the charges while the matter is pending."

Washington was arrested the same day in Stockton, California. Police said they recovered a loaded firearm, oxycodone pills, and about $6,600. Green was taken into custody that day in Irvine. Walker was arrested two days later in Southern California.

Breitbart reported the four men as Curtis Green, 35; Gregory Walker, 36; Antoine Washington, 36; and Marquis Davis, 38, and noted that a preliminary San Francisco police account described a verbal altercation between two groups inside a business before shots were fired.

Federal and local arrest operations in California have drawn fresh scrutiny in recent weeks, including ICE sweeps ordering arrests of every illegal immigrant encountered in the state.

White returned to the field after the ankle wound

White, a defensive lineman in his fourth NFL season and second with the 49ers, was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2023. A photo caption tied to the coverage showed him playing against the Denver Broncos in Santa Clara on Oct. 4, 2026, months after the February shooting.

The 49ers had described him earlier as a victim of a shooting who sustained a bullet wound to his ankle. The district attorney’s materials said he was hosting the private party when he was shot.

San Francisco officials framed the arrests as the product of sustained police work after a high-visibility crime tied to Super Bowl weekend. Jenkins limited the formal charging announcement to the two men already in local custody while transfer efforts continued for the others.

California criminal cases can end with widely different outcomes, including instances where defendants receive probation rather than prison time, as in a recent fake-ransom kidnapping case.

A second man alleged to have fired alongside Walker remains unnamed and pending charges. Specific nightclub-related conduct alleged against Davis and Washington has not been detailed in the same way as the Walker and Green counts. Attorneys for the other three suspects had not been identified in the initial reporting.

Active criminal probes continue to surface across the political and public landscape, from immigration paperwork cases to donor-tied travel inquiries such as the federal investigation into Newsom’s privately funded travel.

What the charging papers still leave open

Prosecutors have laid out clear firearm allegations against Walker and Green. Davis faces serious Georgia drug, gang, and gun counts tied to his Atlanta arrest. Washington’s Stockton arrest produced a loaded gun, pills, and cash. The core San Francisco shooting case still depends on transferring the out-of-county suspects and resolving the status of the unnamed second shooter.

Police releases and the district attorney’s office describe a private VIP party that turned into gunfire, a wounded NFL player, and a months-long hunt that crossed state lines. The public record so far rests on those official claims, the arrest recoveries, and the charges already filed in San Francisco and Georgia.

When guns are pulled in a crowded nightclub after a championship game, the least the public should expect is swift arrests, clear charges, and no soft landings for anyone who fired.
